OBGYN South, a practice partner of Together Women’s Health (TWH), has an immediate opportunity for a PRN Ultrasound Technician to join our team!

The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for acquiring ultrasound images used in medical diagnoses. The technician performs sonography according to applicable standards and policies, maintaining an understanding of team-based patient care and documentation.

Note: Friday coverage will be needed throughout the summer.

How you’ll make an impact
  • Greet patients courteously and meet their needs
  • Verify patient identification and physician orders
  • Reduce patient anxieties by explaining procedures and answering questions
  • Review images, make initial observations, document exceptions, and communicate data to physicians
  • Follow established standards to maximize ultrasound quality and production
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment
  • Complete patient record charting
  • Participate in process improvement activities, including quality of care, patient flow, and satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Talents you’ll bring to TWH
  • Graduate of a certified ultrasound program
  • ARDMS certified and in good standing
  • Extensive experience in OB/GYN
  • Excellent communication skills and professional, caring interaction with patients
