Memorial Community Hospital & Health System in Blair, Nebraska is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our Radiology team on a PRN/Casual basis, performing high-quality ultrasound exams and vascular studies. You will follow department protocols, prepare patients, collect history, and communicate results clearly.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program with ARRT or ARDMS (or eligible), Nebraska license as Medical Radiographer, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program.
• ARRT or ARDMS certification (or board eligible).
• Nebraska State license as Medical Radiographer.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Prefer: 1 year of experience in a high-volume ultrasound department; vascular experience is a plus (training available).

Responsibilities

• Schedule: PRN position with call coverage.
• Perform high-quality ultrasound exams following department protocols, including patient preparation, history collection, and clear communication of procedures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and perform vascular exams to produce diagnostic-quality images for Radiologist interpretation.
• Apply cognitive sonographic skills to identify and adapt procedures based on anatomical and pathological findings.
• Exercise independent judgment to distinguish normal from abnormal results during exams.
