Responsibilities include performing diagnostic sonograms, minimizing artifacts, obtaining patient histories, and supporting physicians with radiologic information to aid diagnosis.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from a certified Radiological Technology Program and/or a certified Ultrasound program, RDMS certification.
• Plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Aufgaben

• Perform diagnostic sonogram procedures; achieve high image quality.
• Be observant for film artifacts and minimize them.
• Obtain patient history as needed.
• Assist physician by providing radiologic information to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate ultrasound equipment with proper care.
