Job summary

Springwoods Behavioral Health in Fayetteville, Arkansas, is seeking a PRN Teacher to provide direct instruction and educational services to hospitalized children and teens, helping them maintain or improve academic standing during treatment.

Under the supervision of the Director of Education, you will work with Lead Education staff, coordinate with home school counselors, and ensure confidentiality while delivering lessons within the hospital setting; prior Special Education classroom experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a behavioral health field.
• One year in a Special Education classroom preferred.
• CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and educational services to hospitalized children and adolescents to maintain or improve academic performance.
• Help patients transition smoothly back to their home school setting.
• Maintain contact with patient's home school counselors and other school personnel during hospitalization and post-discharge.
• Ensure patient confidentiality in all instructional activities during working hours.
