Job summary

The position is PRN and on-site, with at least 2 years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and current Surgical Technologist certification plus BLS. This role covers a range of surgeries and emphasizes patient safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a surgical technologist or in a related operating room role.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training beyond high school may be beneficial.
• Current Surgical Technologist Certification from an approved organization and Basic Life Support (BLS) are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide proficient skills in surgical services including preparation of the operating room and sterile field for various surgeries.
• Scrub, gown, and glove using sterile technique; assist in passing instruments and maintaining asepsis throughout the procedure.
• Assist in instrument sterilization and terminal sterilization processes; help clean the OR after procedures.
