Responsibilities

• Perform scrub role and maintain sterile environment.
• Prepare, pass, hold, insert, remove, clean and assemble instruments and supplies.
• Count sponges, needles, sharps and instruments.
• Assist RN with delegated circulating duties and specimen preparation.
• Work as a team member within the facility.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and expected patient outcomes.
