Job summary

Peter Becker Community in Harleysville, PA is seeking an Independent Contractor Cosmetologist to provide hair and nail services to our residents in a dedicated salon space. We provide salon space and an established resident clientele—you bring your expertise, professional tools, and passion for helping others look and feel their best.

You’ll keep 80% of revenue from each service and enjoy flexible scheduling in a supportive senior living setting with no booth rental.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Cosmetology License required.
• Ability to perform both hair and nail services preferred.
• Candidates specializing in only hair or only nail services are also encouraged to apply.
• Previous salon experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Compassionate and patient when working with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair services, including: Haircuts, Shampoo & Styling, Blowouts & Roller Sets, Coloring (if offered), Other licensed salon services.
• Provide professional nail services, including: Manicures, Nail shaping and trimming, Polish application, Basic hand care services within your scope of practice.
• Create a welcoming, relaxing salon experience for residents.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace.
• Supply your own professional tools, equipment, products, and consumables.
• Maintain all required professional licenses and liability insurance.
