What You Can Expect:

• Work-life balance: Enjoy weekends off, PRN (on-call) working hours Monday-Friday, day shift.

Hours and Location:

• This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

As a PRN Staff Pharmacist on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you’ll contribute to community well-being, act as a trusted advisor to patients, and ensure pharmacy operations are efficient, effective, and continually improving. You will be part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management.

• Provide exceptional, personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence.
• Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure safe medication dispensing.
• Embrace understanding of pharmacy operations and drive continual improvement to provide the best patient care and empower team development.
• Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more.

What You’ll Bring:

Basic Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination
• Current pharmacist license in good standing for Louisiana
• Maintain continuing education requirements
• At least one year of pharmacy practice experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Three years of pharmacy practice experience

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• Flexibility to work on an on-call basis
• Ability to work at the pharmacy location and hours
• Moderately active role requiring standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds
• Regularly required to talk and hear
• Ability to distinguish colors and shapes
