About This Position:

We seek a dependable, patient-focused PRN Staff Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist available for coverage during vacations, busy periods, or staffing needs. The candidate should be community-oriented, skilled in patient counseling, and collaborative.

Responsibilities:

1. Review and verify prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
2. Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
3. Ensure compliance with Georgia Board of Pharmacy and federal laws.
4. Use EnterpriseRx system to process prescriptions.
5. Administer immunizations and document accordingly.
6. Supervise pharmacy technicians and staff during shifts.
7. Communicate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions.
8. Maintain patient records and inventory documentation.

Availability:

This PRN role requires flexibility for occasional weekday, weekend, or holiday shifts based on coverage needs.

Qualifications:

1. Active and unrestricted Georgia Pharmacist license.
2. Immunization certification recognized by the Georgia Board of Pharmacy.
3. Strong customer service and communication skills.
4. Proficiency or willingness to learn EnterpriseRx.
5. Retail or independent pharmacy experience preferred.
6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
