Job summary

Lifeline Home Health Care, part of LHC Group, under UnitedHealth Group, is hiring a Speech Therapist for patient-centric home health services. You will assess speech, swallowing, and cognitive needs, develop and implement therapy plans, and monitor progress with the care team to improve patient well‑being.

Requirements include active state licensure as a Speech Therapist, CPR certification, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy within scope of practice and plan of care, coordinating with health care team.
• Evaluate function and assist in developing therapy plan of care with physician.
• Treat patients to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive function as appropriate.
• Observe, record, and report progress to supervising nurse/physician.
• Instruct patient, family, caregiver and team on speech therapy interventions.
