Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in communication disorders from an accredited university.
• ASHA recognition and state licensure required or in progress.
• CFY completed or in progress; eligibility for state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech therapy evaluations per physician orders.
• Document findings and progress using approved evaluation formats.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Ensure treatments, recertifications and discharges follow MD orders.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans monthly.
• Attend facility meetings and participate in interdisciplinary team activities.

Education

Master of Arts in Communication Disorders

ASHA certification or eligible

State licensure in North Carolina
