Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage, part of the HCA Healthcare network, is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) for a PRN role to support patients’ communication, cognition, and swallowing through evidence-based care.

You will work with a collaborative rehabilitation team, manage a clear caseload, and benefit from well-resourced workflows and clinical support. A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and relevant certifications are required.

Qualificações

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP certification within 1 year of start date.
• SLP certification (Speech-Language Pathologist).
• 1 year of experience required.
• Basic Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluating communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities using structured assessments and observation.
• Developing and adjusting individualized treatment plans for communication, safe swallowing, and functional progress.
• Documenting evaluations, daily notes, progress updates, and discharge summaries with accuracy and timeliness.
• Educating patients and families on therapy goals, safety, home strategies, and expected progress.
• Collaborating with physicians, nursing, rehabilitation staff, and care managers for coordinated care.
