Job summary

Sky Blue Healthcare LLC in Broken Arrow, OK is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech-language therapy in a busy skilled nursing facility.

You will develop treatment plans for cognitive-communication, swallowing disorders, and related areas, supervise CFYs when needed, coordinate with rehab staff, and ensure documentation and compliance with HIPAA and professional ethics. Flexibility and patient-focused care are essential.

Qualifications

• A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
• State licensure, certification, or credentials as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CFYs, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel as required.
• Deliver effective rehab services, follow care plans, schedules, and document services promptly.
• Attend patient care and staffing conferences.
• Make referrals to other disciplines/agencies for comprehensive patient care.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to select appropriate therapeutic regimens.
• Adapt care plans to individual patient needs.
• Ensure a safe environment and eliminate hazards.
• Manage supplies and equipment, including cleaning and maintenance.
• Prioritize patient service and provide compassionate care.
• Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses and care plans.
