Winder Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team of compassionate care providers. Be part of a supportive, collaborative environment where your expertise helps residents regain function, confidence, and independence.
About the Role:
As an SLP, you will evaluate, plan, and provide patient-centered care in accordance with prescribed treatment plans. You will help residents restore function, prevent disability, and achieve their highest potential. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting speech and language evaluations and developing individualized care plans
Administering prescribed treatment modalities to support resident recovery
Supervising and delegating tasks to support staff, such as OT/PT aides
Participating in performance improvement, CQI activities, and operational functions of the department
Ensuring accurate and timely documentation and patient charge submissions
Adhering to infection control, safety, and departmental equipment protocols
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Georgia
Experience in skilled nursing or rehab settings preferred
Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills
