Job summary

NHC HomeCare Milan is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a PRN/Part-Time role in Milan, TN. You will supervise and apply therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of patients with speech and language disorders, hearing disorders, and oral myofunctional disorders under physician orders and in collaboration with the care team.

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved program
• CCC-SP from ASHA or eligible for CFY

• Provides evaluations and therapy as ordered by the physician and recommends an appropriate treatment program.
• Evaluates, plans, and carries out therapy programs with goals set and re-evaluations.

NHC HomeCare Milan is looking for a PRN/Part Time Speech Language Pathologist, SLP to join our team! The Speech-Language Pathologist supervises and participates in the application of therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients with speech and language disorders, hearing disorders and oral myofunctional disorders.

Qualifications

• Must have a master’s degree from an approved curriculum in Speech Pathology, or its equivalent.
• Must have a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SP) from the American Speech and Hearing Association or be eligible for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Must be licensed in the state or states in which he/she will work.

Position Highlights

• Directs and supervises the Communication Disorders Service Department.
• Provides evaluations and therapy as ordered by the referring physician and recommends an appropriate treatment program for the physician’s approval.
• Evaluates, plans, and carries out therapy programs, including the establishment of goals for patients as referred and approved by the physician, with periodic re-evaluations.
• Participates in the in-service training program for the HomeCare personnel.
