What you will do in this role:

1. Help patients recover and improve by providing therapy to enhance speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
2. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and post charges to patient records daily.
3. Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
4. Instruct family members or nursing staff on follow-up programs.
5. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
6. Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and applicable laws.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
2. Meet the education and experience requirements for ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology.
3. At least six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations as a speech therapist or speech-language pathologist.
4. Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the service location.
5. Current CPR certification.
6. Strong organizational and communication skills.
