Job summary

Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth region is seeking a Speech Pathologist (SLP) to assess and treat speech, language and swallowing disorders in acute and rehab settings. You will develop individualized therapy plans, educate patients and families, and document progress while collaborating with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Experience in acute or rehab settings preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Current SLP and ASHA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develops and implements treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Educates patients and families about therapy goals.
• Documents evaluations, treatments, and patient progress.
• Collaborates with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
