Job summary

Methodist is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning for improved communication and swallowing. Candidates must have a Master's in Speech Pathology, an Indiana license, ASHA CCC or eligibility, and BLS certification, with advanced life support possibly required by unit policies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech pathology or foreign-trained equivalent accepted by Indiana PLA.
• Current license in the State of Indiana.
• ASHA CCC or eligibility for CCC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA.
• Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Performs speech pathology services including diagnostic evaluations to determine level of impairment.
• Designs a treatment plan for improved communication and swallowing.
• Performs direct patient care including supervision of support personnel and students.
• Participates in related activities supporting patient care, education and department operations.
