Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Lakeway, TX seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for PRN coverage of Inpatient Rehab and Day Neuro. The role requires strong swallowing and neuro rehabilitation skills, and offers training to cover both inpatient and day programs.

The candidate should have a Master’s in SLP with CCC-SLP, TX-SLP, and BLS. Dysphagia exp, 3+ yrs outpatient neuro preferred; certifications like LSVT/SPEAK OUT and AAC are pluses.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP, TX-SLP, and BLS certifications required.
• Dysphagia experience required.
• 3+ years outpatient adult neuro preferred.
• LSVT/SPEAK OUT and AAC preferred.
• NMES for swallowing (AmpCare preferred).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and modify treatment plans for assigned patients.
• Oversee and direct therapy services for assigned patients.
• Ensure functional, patient-centered programs enabling community re-entry.
• Educate patients, families, students, peers and self.
• Discharge planning and family education.
• Market and promote speech services to grow the program.
