Job summary

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will develop personalized treatment plans, participate in interdisciplinary teams, and ensure thorough documentation while supporting discharge planning and family education.

Requirements include a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology, state licensure, and ASHA certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist by the State Board is required; ASHA certification preferred.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive diagnostic evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Adheres to documentation standards (Initial Evaluations, Progress notes, Discharge summaries).
• Participates in patient care conferences, family conferences, and interdepartmental meetings.
• Provides education and discharge planning; counsels patient and family.
