Job summary

Richwood Nursing & Rehab is seeking a PRN Speech Language Therapist to evaluate and treat Residents throughout the facility. You will communicate with Families, Physicians and health team members, and maintain documentation of services as required by the Director of Therapy to ensure quality care.

The role includes supervising CFY/Speech Language Pathologist Fellows, participating in discharge planning, and ensuring compliance with state practice acts and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathologist Therapy.
• Masters or Doctorate in Speech Language Therapy preferred.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state; maintain license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents throughout the facility.
• Maintain documentation of services and notes per director of therapy requirements.
• Communicate with families, physicians and health team members.
• Record evaluations, daily treatment notes, weekly progress notes, and discharge documentation as required by state practice acts.
• Supervise CFY/Speech Language Pathologist Fellows and assist nursing staff as needed.
• Participate in discharge planning and caregiver training in preparation for discharge from therapy services.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathologist Therapy
