Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy in Destin, FL is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team and help expand access to quality care.

You will deliver evidence-based therapy, establish tailored treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and case management to help patients return home or progress to the next level of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAA approved Speech-Language Pathology program.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA.
• State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology.
• Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient to facilitate return home or to next level of care.
• Establish timely treatment plans for each patient's specific needs.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members.
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (physicians, case management, nurses, etc.).

Education

Graduate of a CAA approved Speech-Language Pathology program

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA

State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

PRN Shift/Hour Requirements

• 2 weekend day shifts per month
• 1 major holiday
• 1 minor holiday

Compensation

Pay Range: $50.00-$55.00 an hour (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
