Job summary

You will collaborate with a care team, maintain records, and participate in continuing education; required Master's/Doctorate in SLP, state license, CCC-SLP preferred; on-site position.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC-SLP certification is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Competency in evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognitive, and dysphagia disorders.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare accreditation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, screen, and treat patients needing speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing therapy.
• Review medical charts and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Implement treatment plans through direct intervention and education of clinical staff.
• Provide supervision for therapy assistants or clinical fellows as applicable.
• Maintain accurate billing information and confidentiality of medical records.
• Attend interdisciplinary and family meetings as appropriate.
