Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a PRN role at our Toomsboro SNF location. You will evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders, and collaborate with a care team to support patient goals.

Responsibilities include dysphagia and cognitive assessments, developing individualized plans, documenting progress, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA‑accredited program.
• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
• Clinical Fellowship candidates considered where applicable.
• Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, or post‑acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Perform dysphagia, cognitive, and communication assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
• Educate patients and families on treatment objectives and outcomes.
