Job summary

Restore Therapy Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) to serve at Jacksonville Health & Rehab. The role focuses on evaluating and treating patients with speech and language impairments, creating care plans, and coordinating with physicians.

The ideal candidate holds an ASHA CCC and a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with at least one year of clinical experience, including utilization of iPads/therapy tools. Travel may be required, and on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid therapy license in the state employed.
• Degree that includes an internship from an approved Master’s program in Speech–Language Pathology.
• Meets the education and experience requirements for a CCC/ASHA.
• Minimum of one year clinical experience in Speech–Language Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Conducts evaluations and identifies equipment needs related to speech/language function.
• Identifies functional speech defects and develops a plan of care.
• Administers speech therapy program using specialized techniques/equipment.
• Recommends communication devices as indicated.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintains notes per policy and stays clinically competent.
