Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare - South is seeking a per diem Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house team serving residents through person-centered care in San Antonio, Texas.

You will evaluate swallowing and cognitive deficits, develop individualized treatment plans, and educate residents and caregivers while coordinating with other professionals to ensure high-quality, medically necessary speech therapy services.

Qualifications

• Active/Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current ASHA Certification.
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Assist residents to achieve cognitive or swallowing goals.
• Educate residents and caregivers.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to increase independence.
• Provide AAC systems for communication disorders.
• Train clients, families, and other professionals.
