Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is offering a PRN Speech Language Pathologist opportunity at Downriver Estates in Brownstown, Michigan. This role is in an assisted living setting with pay range $50-$54/hr.

As part of a therapist-led, multidisciplinary team, you will assess and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic skills.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations.
• Treatment and Education: Implement evidence-based therapies and educate patients and families on disorders and daily communication improvement.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans with compliance to standards.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
