Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy in Chatsworth, GA is hiring Speech Language Pathologists to deliver acute care services and drive patient recovery. You’ll establish individualized treatment plans and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and case management to facilitate discharge planning and continuation of care.

The role requires Georgia licensure or current licensure in process, CCC-SLP, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ASHA (CAA) approved SLP program and state licensure.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA and BLS certification are preferred.
• Clinical Fellows may apply and pursue licensure.
• Active licensure in Georgia is required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient to facilitate return home or to next level of care.
• Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members.
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (physicians, case management, nurses, etc).

Education

Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association

State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology

Basic Life Support certification

PRN Shift/Hour Requirements: 2 weekend day shifts per month, 1 major holiday, 1 minor holiday

Compensation

Pay Range: $45.00-$60.00 an hour (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
