Job summary

BJC Medical Group is seeking a Registered Diagnostic Sonographer for a PRN role across Shiloh, Alton, and parts of Missouri. The position involves ultrasound imaging (abdominal, obstetrical, small parts) for diverse patient populations and may include vascular studies.

You will ensure equipment readiness, documentation, and may work on-call or at multiple locations as required by the workflow. RDMS certified Anaesthesia.

Qualifications

• RDMS certification or equivalent.
• No experience required.
• Day Shift Hours: 8:00am–4:30pm, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound imaging (abdominal, small parts, obstetrical) for diagnosis and treatment.
• May perform vascular imaging as needed.

Role Purpose

The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, and assist with needle procedures (i.e., biopsies, drainages, needle placements, etc.). May also perform vascular imaging

Responsibilities

Ensures proper function and readiness of all equipment. Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and ensures proper documentation of procedures. Performs studies independently, may perform studies on-call, portable exams, and at other sites as required by work area.
