Job summary

Independence Rehab is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support our therapy team at Spanish Fork Nursing & Rehab in Spanish Fork, UT. You will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.

Requirements include current Utah license, MA in Speech-Language Pathology, and ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Utah Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCC-SLP is preferred.
• Organized, self-directed, and patient-focused.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and dysphagia-related needs.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care focused on safety, function, and quality of life.
• Conduct swallowing evaluations and recommend diet modifications and compensatory strategies.
• Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and therapy teams to support resident care plans.
• Provide education to residents, families, and staff as appropriate.
• Competency training available for clinicians new to SNF settings.
