Job summary

Vitalis Healthcare Services is expanding our skilled nursing team and looking for compassionate, dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide in-home skilled nursing visits on a PRN (as-needed) basis in Maryland.

You pick up visits as they come in, work the cases that fit your schedule, enjoy autonomy, and receive strong per-visit compensation without a fixed shift.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Maryland RN or LPN license (compact license welcome)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Home health or community-based nursing experience preferred (but not required)
• A professional, patient-centered, and dependable approach to care

Responsibilities

• Complete skilled nursing visits in patients' homes based on physician orders
• Perform assessments, administer treatments and medications, and carry out ordered skilled tasks within your scope of practice
• Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up
• Document each visit accurately and promptly per agency and payer requirements
• Communicate with the care team and physicians as needed

You pick up visits as they come in - work the cases that fit your schedule, in the areas convenient to you. This is an ideal opportunity for nurses who want flexibility, autonomy, and strong per-visit compensation without the commitment of a fixed shift schedule.

What We're Offering (Per-Visit Pay)

• Registered Nurses (RN): $90 – $100 per visit
• Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN): $55 – $65 per visit
