Job summary

Episcopal Retirement Services (ERS) is seeking a Security Guard for Deupree House in Cincinnati, OH. This PRN role focuses on maintaining safe campus operations, monitoring surveillance, assisting residents during entry/exit, and participating in ERS emergency plans.

The ideal candidate will be able to respond to incidents promptly and work well with staff and residents. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, fluent English, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to transport residents.
• Must be able to move throughout the facility, including stairs.
• Must be able to bend, push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Must work harmoniously with others and manage residents of varying behavior.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility security and safety, monitor cameras and visitors, and patrol all areas.
• Monitor residents' medical alert systems.
• Maintain reports reflecting security programs.
• Assist residents during entry/exit and emergencies.
• Lead in evacuations using approved lift and carry techniques.
• Report incidents to supervisor and assist in parking as needed.
