Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care with NBRC-confirmed RRT credentials. The role requires assessing patients, developing and implementing plans of care, and coordinating with the care team to optimize patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates will hold an RRT and be able to lead clinical activities, educate patients and families, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Recent clinical respiratory care experience in hospital, home care, or skilled nursing facility.
• 1 year hospital experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient.
• Develop the plan of care.
• Implement the plan of care.
• Evaluate the plan of care.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Provide patient, family, and/or significant other health teaching/education.
• Participate in activities designed to improve health care delivery.
