PRN - RPSGT - Registered Sleep Technologist - Pomerene Hospital - Millersburg, Ohio
About The Position

PRN RPSGT Needed -

MedBridge Healthcare is seeking experienced RPSGTs or RTs to work at Pomerene Hospital located in Millersburg, Ohio. This position provides sleep services on an as-needed basis/PRN from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Competitive hourly rates are available, depending on experience and patient ratio.

MedBridge is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy. We partner with hospitals and physician practices to offer comprehensive, fully integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care management of patients with sleep disorders.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Facilitating tests and collecting data
  • Preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results
  • Following proper polysomnographic procedures, including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks
  • Analyzing (scoring) clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulating final data for review
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and laws
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or higher education level
  • Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program
  • Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as an RPSGT or as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required
Physical Demands of the Job:

The physical demands described here are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this job:

  1. Regularly standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing. Vision abilities include near, distance, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment.
  2. Using hands to operate office equipment.
  3. Regularly lifting/moving up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
