Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients, following the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.

The role requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing, current Texas RN license, BLS certification, and at least 12 months of RN experience. 10-hour shifts, PRN scheduling, and a commitment to patient safety and teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas.
• Work experience: 12 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards and promotes a cooperative work environment.
• Assumes responsibility for the nursing components of patient/family care.
• Communicates with the team and evaluates understanding.
• Creates and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Ensures accurate and timely written patient information.
• Provides safe, timely medication and IV administration.
