Job summary

Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Kingsland is seeking a motivated PRN RN PreOp to join our team in a fast-paced ASC environment. Open two Saturdays a month, with no required call and holidays off.

RN Pre-Op provides quality patient care using nursing processes and follows organizational policies, reporting to Peri-operative Services Manager. Candidate must hold Texas RN license, graduate of an accredited nursing program, and have 1–3 years' PreOP/PACU experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted Texas license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• 1–3 years' experience in PreOP/PACU is required or preferred.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS and PALS certifications are required.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with staff, patients, and physicians.
