Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN roles to deliver high-quality nursing care to residents. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in collaboration with residents, families and the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include acting as charge nurse when needed, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff, and upholding the Nurse Practice Act, state rules and ANA code of ethics; a Minnesota RN license is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in Minnesota.
• Multistate licensure acceptable in NLC states and must maintain competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents.
• Coordinate care with residents, families and inter-disciplinary team.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff.
