About The Job

Provides direct and indirect care focusing on employee health, utilizing established protocols to meet diverse healthcare needs. Duties include collecting and ordering lab tests, reviewing immunizations, administering injections, phlebotomy, and wound care. Ensures excellent patient care through education on disease, medications, and safety.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Collect medical histories and prepare patients for examinations; relay urgent requests to providers.
  • Review and coordinate immunizations and lab tests for new hires; track compliance with health requirements.
  • Record vital signs and address emergency health risks.
  • Assist providers during examinations and follow up on abnormal tests and exposures.
  • Perform phlebotomy, point-of-care tests, wound care, and medication preparations.
  • Educate patients, maintain confidentiality, and ensure proper documentation and inventory.
  • Support health initiatives and perform administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications

Associate’s degree in nursing required; bachelor’s preferred. Minimum 3+ years healthcare experience, current RN license, CPR/BLS, phlebotomy certification required. Occupational health certification and EMR experience preferred.
