Job summary

Atrium Health Jesse Helms Nursing Center in Monroe, NC, is seeking RN teammates for part-time PRN shifts. You will manage patient caseloads, perform assessments, administer medications, and participate in safety rounds and chart audits, with cross-training for charge duties.

Graduate from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure; BSN preferred and BLS required. The facility emphasizes growth, development, and high-quality patient outcomes in a 70-bed setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred. Current RN license in the state you work.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
• Experience requirements include RN responsibilities and willingness to be cross-trained as back-up.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned patient caseload with timely care and documentation per the plan of care and MD orders.
• Collect data from patient assessments and EMR to identify issues and resources for resolution.
• Identify high-risk patients and coordinate case conferencing to ensure appropriate care and frequency of services.
• Develop and oversee a plan of care communicated to involved parties to support quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Perform ordered treatments, therapies, and procedures in accordance with nursing standards and policies.
