Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse in the RN Float Pool to care for diverse patient populations across units. This PRN role offers fast-paced, rewarding work with a supportive team and a strong culture of patient-centered care.

You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, monitor conditions, update care plans, and coordinate discharge needs. Requirements include ADN or BSN, RN license, BLS, and at least two years of related nursing experience.

• Internal candidates with <2 years may be considered with review

How You’ll Benefit

• Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources.

A caregiver in this position works PRN (as needed) variable shifts. You must work 48 hours within a six-week period.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Provide direct nursing care.

• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR the American Red Cross
• External candidates: two years of recent related nursing experience
• Internal candidates with less than two years of experience, but are post-orientation/90-day probationary period, may be considered with CNO level review and approval
• Licensed military RN experience will be considered

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)

Physical Requirements:

• Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
• Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
• Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
• Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
• Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $43.00

Maximum hourly: $43.00
