Job summary

LCMC Health in New Orleans seeks an RN Dialysis Apheresis to provide direct patient care during dialysis procedures, using the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. You will be accountable for a designated patient group within a given time frame and ensure safe, compassionate care.

The role requires an active Louisiana RN license and AHA BLS certification, with variable hours and a focus on patient-centered outcomes within a fast-paced dialysis environment.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care for patients by applying the nursing process, in collaboration with the care team.
• Coordinates and delegates tasks and works cooperatively with patients, families and the care team during dialysis apheresis.

The RN Dialysis Apheresis a professional caregiver, assumes responsibility, accountability for assigned patient group for a designated time frame and during dialysis apheresis procedure. Provides care to patients via therapeutic use of the nursing process, environment, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration. Coordinates, delegates and provides direct nursing care for patients by working cooperatively with patients, family members and patient care team members.

Must-Haves Minimum

• Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
