Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Active Wyoming RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive RN care for residents.
• Perform nursing assessments and adjust care plans as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Deliver skilled nursing including wound care, IV therapy, and tube feeding if permitted.
• Supervise and guide LPNs and CNAs per state nurse practice acts.
• Ensure care plans are implemented and updated with interdisciplinary input.
• Complete documentation and records in a timely, compliant manner.
• Collaborate with physicians and therapists for coordinated care.

Registered Nurse (RN)

Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the long-term care unit at our beautiful skilled nursing facility. The primary purpose of the position is to ensure the highest quality of resident care available, support staff, and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on the Eduro Healthcare values.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Registered Nurse (RN) care for residents
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments of residents and evaluate changes in condition to ensure appropriate interventions and care planning
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician and in accordance with facility policies and professional nursing standards
• Provide skilled nursing care including wound care, IV therapy (as permitted by state practice), tube feedings, suctioning, catheter care, and other complex nursing procedures
• Supervise, delegate, and provide clinical guidance to LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing personnel in accordance with state nurse practice acts
• Ensure care plans are developed, implemented, and updated based on resident assessments and interdisciplinary team input
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective resident care
• Accurately complete all required documentation, assessments, and clinical records in a timely manner and in accordance with regulatory standards

Skills and Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by Wyoming required
• BLS certification from the AHA required
