Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Nurse (RN) to oversee resident health, strengthen clinical systems, and support medication safety and regulatory compliance across the community.

The role involves conducting assessments, wellness visits, and ensuring regulatory standards are met, while collaborating with families and physicians to promote high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of approved nursing program.
• 1+ year experience in senior care or clinical setting.
• Strong assessment, regulatory, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct move-in, 3-day, semi-annual, and change-of-condition assessments.
• Perform monthly wellness visits and monitor health trends.
• Follow up on falls, incidents, and hospital returns.
• Transcribe physician orders and ensure accurate MAR/TAR documentation.
• Complete medication audits and oversee medication program compliance.
• Partner with families, physicians, and the Resident Care Director.
• Promote infection control and survey readiness.
• Provide clinical guidance and training to care staff.

You serve as a proactive clinical resource preventing decline through assessment, early intervention, and strong documentation oversight.

What We’re Looking For

• Active RN license in good standing
• Graduate of approved nursing program
• 1+ year experience in senior care or clinical setting
• Strong assessment, regulatory, and communication skills
