This PRN/Per Diem role requires an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy and current Georgia licensure. Preferred candidates have 1–2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy, NBRC registration, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• 2 year / Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy (Required)
• 1 - 2 years Respiratory Therapy (Preferred)
• Georgia Composite Board license Respiratory Care Professional
• National Board Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Adult Respiratory Care: BLS, ACLS, PALS required (ACLS/PALS within specified timeframe)
• NICU Respiratory Care: BLS, NRP, PALS within timeframes

Responsibilities

• Deliver medication and bronchial hygiene under physician and nurse supervision.
• Manage mechanical ventilators and monitor patient oxygenation.
• Perform invasive respiratory procedures after competency assessment.
• Document care accurately in the electronic system and ensure timely handoffs.
• Provide compassionate care and adapt to age-specific patient needs.
• Maintain equipment readiness and adhere to safety protocols.
