Job summary

Memorial Hospital Belleville, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking a dedicated PRN Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Care Department. You will provide patient-focused respiratory care in an acute care setting, contributing to high-quality outcomes.

As a PRN team member, you will perform assessments, procedures and education, collaborating with the care team to ensure safety and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Assoc or CoARC accredited program in respiratory therapy.
• Active Respiratory Care Practitioner license and BLS.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate respiratory care for patients.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures per standards.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and document care and handoffs.
• Provide education and training on respiratory therapies to staff and patients.
• Support advanced clinical care as needed (ECMO, ventilators, sleep lab, etc.).
