Job summary

Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs, CO, is seeking a PRN Respiratory Care Therapist to provide in-patient therapy across medical-surgical, ICU, nursery, and emergency services under physician supervision.

The role includes ventilator management (APRV, AVAPS, BiPAP weaning), EKGs, ABG analysis, bedside spirometry, and patient education; experience with Meditech is helpful. Requires NBRC accreditation and current BLS/ACLS/PALS; 1+ year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NBRC-accredited School of Respiratory Care.
• NBRC Registry or Neonatal Pediatric Specialist Exam experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-patient therapy for diverse patient populations across units.
• Perform EKGs, ABGs, and bedside spirometry.
• Ventilator management including APRV, AVAPS and BiPAP weaning.
