Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a PRN position. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in line with physician orders and protocols.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Program, current BLS and ACLS, Texas license, and NBRC registration. NRP/PALS must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program is required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification is required.
• NRP and Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Texas license as Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing is required.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care is required.
• At least 6 months of respiratory care experience is required.
