Job summary

Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton, IA is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) to join our acute care team on a PRN basis. You will assess patients, administer therapies, monitor progress, and educate families as part of a collaborative care approach.

Candidates must hold an RRT or CRT, Iowa licensure, ACLS and BLS; PALS within 6 months; prior RT experience; and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Valid RRT or CRT Certification.
• Must have Iowa Licensure, ACLS and BLS.
• PALS required within 6 months of hire.
• Previous experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Knowledge of respiratory care equipment and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work day shifts.
