Job summary

GapRx 340B Consultants, LLC seeks a PRN Pharmacist to coordinate and supervise pharmacy services, including dispensing, MTM and immunizations, in an in-person setting in Iowa City, IA. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance and patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience as a pharmacist.
• Pharm.D or RPh degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Iowa pharmacist license (current).
• Supervisory/management experience and teamwork abilities.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and pharmacy information systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify physician prescriptions for appropriateness and legality.
• Organize the pharmacy efficiently to speed product identification.
• Maintain control of dispensing, stocking and labeling; monitor expiry.
• Listen to customers to understand needs and provide information.
• Provide immunizations, MTM and related medical services.
• Prepare medicines with correct dosages for individuals.
• Keep patient history and medication activity records.
• Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and pharmacists.
• Develop plan to mitigate DIR Fee risks with focus on quality/compliance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and procedures.
