Job summary

GapRx 340B Consultants, LLC seeks a licensed pharmacist for a contract role in Iowa City, IA. Under moderate direction, you will supervise pharmacy services, review prescriptions, and support immunizations, MTM, and patient counseling.

Candidates should have a Pharm.D or Pharm degree and be licensed in the state, with supervisory experience, proficiency in MS Office and pharmacy information systems, and strong communication and integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience as a pharmacist.
• Degree in Pharmacy (Pharm. D or RPh) from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Licensed as a registered pharmacist in the state.
• Supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Team player with strong communication and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for appropriateness and legality.
• Organize the pharmacy for efficient product identification.
• Maintain control over dispensing, stocking, labeling, and product condition.
• Provide patient counseling and information.
• Support immunizations and MTM services.
• Prepare medicines with correct dosages.
• Keep patient history records and activity logs.
• Supervise pharmacy staff and coordinate duties.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
